About the event

It is Sunday. Josep and Maria, the tenant farmers of Can Miravitges, are rushing to get everything ready before Father Joan and the residents of the farmhouses of Pomar and Canyet arrive. No one takes responsibility for the chores that need to be done beforehand... even though it is the “Lord’s Day.” What if, on top of everything, God punishes them for working when they should not!
The Eucharist is celebrated in the chapel every Sunday and, when it ends, the residents, all dressed up for the occasion, take the opportunity to tell one another how the week has gone, discuss the selling price of wine at the Born market (since the phylloxera plague, there has been no way to restore the vineyards), and even share some gossip, such as that the young daughter of Can Cabras has been courting a young man from Montgat who works at Corderia Ribó for months.
On this theatrical tour, you will discover a universe that no longer exists: a rural setting where work is organized according to the season and the hours of daylight. A world that looks warily at the smoke from the first factories which, from Badalona’s seafront, threaten the blue sky over Can Miravitges.
Price: €10.16 per person.
Includes a theatrical tour and a sweet tasting
