Ubuntu Zesty Zapus launch party

It is a tradition for the Ubuntu Community of Catalonia to welcome the new version of the free operating system every six months with a launch party. This time, the new Ubuntu version is called Zesty Zapus and corresponds to 17.04.

The party will be held on May 13 at Soko Tech in Barcelona.

Program:

10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. – Presentation by Josep Gallart.
11:00 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. – TiddlyWiki and TiddlyDesktop by Paco Rivière.
12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – How to organize coding workshops with Scratch. By Pep Oliveras, Martina Mayrhofer and Marc Pascual.
2:00 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. – Lunch.
4:00 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. – Raspberry with Ubuntu. By Miquel Adroer.
5:00 p.m. to 5:55 p.m. – Introductory talk/workshop on GIT and etckeeper. By Aniol Martí.
6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Prize draw and closing. Plenary session.

The aim of this party is to promote and bring free software in general, and Ubuntu more specifically, closer to the public. During the party, help will be provided with installing Ubuntu for everyone who wants to try this operating system.
