About the event

While the Penedès was becoming a wine-producing powerhouse, Modernism and wine went hand in hand. Houses, warehouses, streetlights, and the exceptional sculptural ensemble by Josep Llimona are among Vilafranca’s Modernist traces. We can discover them on a guided, dramatized tour through the historic center and some of its most notable buildings, ending with a tasting of a glass of wine.

The activity includes: a guided, dramatized tour of the old town; admission and a guided visit to the crypt of the Basilica of Santa Maria, Casa Freixedas, and Casa Miró; and a tasting of a glass of wine, with the glass as a souvenir.
