The Sant Andreu Little Band is composed of the saxophone section of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, joined by four brass players: two trumpets and two trombones.
The group’s main sound revolves around the saxophone section, formed by Koldo Munné and Sander Theuns (alto saxophones), Lola Peñaranda and Pere Company (tenor saxophones) and Bernat Benavente (baritone saxophone). They are joined by the trumpets of Elsa Armengou and Martí Costalago, and the trombones of Luc Martin and Irina Fernández.
In addition, the repertoire will include special arrangements for the voices of Koldo, Pere and Irina, bringing even more variety and personality to the project.
A jazz session where we can enjoy the new generations of jazz in the country, with the freshness, energy and sensitivity that characterize the young musicians emerging from the Sant Andreu Jazz Band environment.
