Book Club. Scripta manent. Correspondence with Trajan

The second session of the Scripta Manent Book Club will be devoted to Pliny the Younger’s (61–112) Correspondence with Trajan.
Although it is considered to have less literary quality than The Letters by this Latin politician and writer, the letters collected in this volume—most dated between the years 11 and 112 AD—are a privileged source for learning how the administration of the Roman Empire operated.
The session will be led by Professor of Archaeology Isabel Rodà.
