“Let’s Talk About Breast Cancer” Support Group for People Aged 50 or Older

About the event

Support group for people aged 50 or older who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing curative treatment. A safe space with people in the same situation as you, where you can express and share your questions, uncertainties, concerns, and experiences related to the process and treatment you are going through.
Sessions facilitated by the center’s Oncology Support Specialist nurses at the Kālida Sant Pau center.
Benefits/Objectives:
Reduce the emotional impact caused by breast cancer.
Encourage emotional expression.
Develop and manage group empathy.
Promote positive self-perception.
Answer questions related to the cancer care process.
Participation:
In-person sessions. To participate, come to the Kālida Sant Pau center on the day of the session; no prior registration is required (places are limited, and arriving about 15 minutes early is recommended to secure your place).
