About the event

Social horticulture is an activity that helps improve physical and cognitive functioning and develop social skills while promoting healthy lifestyle habits. It is aimed at people with cancer, as well as caregivers and family members of people who are ill, and is coordinated by horticulture experts who volunteer their time. The activity takes place outdoors in the garden at Kālida San Pau.
Benefits/Objectives:

Improve physical and emotional well-being.
Engage in gentle physical exercise.
Learn about different occupations related to gardening and horticulture.
Socialize through plants, flowers, seeds, soil and water.

Participation:
In-person sessions. To participate, simply come to the Kālida Sant Pau center on the day of the session; advance registration is not required (places are limited; arriving about 15 minutes early is recommended to ensure you get a place).
