Book Club. Scripta manent. Lives of Caesar and Augustus

The first session of the Museum’s Book Club will be devoted to Suetonius’s (70–126) Lives of Caesar and Augustus. This classical text is part of the famous series The Lives of the Twelve Caesars (De vita Caesarum), which traces the lives, intimate details, anecdotes, and historical information of Julius Caesar, Caesar Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Galba, Otho, Vitellius, Vespasian, Titus, and Domitian.
The session will be led by Professor of Archaeology Isabel Rodà.
