In autumn 2015, after first meeting in Canada in 2014, Olivier Le Goas invited the renowned American guitarist Nir Felder to Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg to record his album Reciprocity. Four years later, Felder also participated in the recording of Reciprocity’s second album, On Ramp Of Heaven Dreams, released in 2020 by Challenge Records.
The band has already performed on several occasions during two European tours in some of Europe’s most prominent venues, such as Paradox in Tilburg, PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho in London and Jazzclub Unterfahrt in Munich, as well as at festivals such as Elbjazz in Hamburg and Jazz in the City in Essen.
It was in 2024, during a series of trio concerts alongside the brilliant Polish pianist Dominik Wania (including at PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho in London), that Olivier added the young and talented Norwegian double bassist Håkon Huldt-Nystrøm.
With this new lineup, Olivier and his band will perform pieces from some of the drummer’s latest albums, including Sunland, Reciprocity and On Ramp Of Heaven Dreams, as well as completely new and previously unreleased pieces.
