Simon Osuna 4et – Too Soon, Too Late album presentation

After years of working as a sideman with some of the most prominent musicians on the European and American scenes, Simon Osuna now leads his own project, presenting his original compositions and arrangements. This project puts the double bass in the foreground as a solo instrument in jazz, following the inspiration of legends such as Sam Jones, Ray Brown and Paul Chambers.

The quartet is energetic and expressive, bringing to life original pieces influenced by Osuna’s experiences in New York. His album Too Soon, Too Late, recorded at Pinch Studios (NY), will be released by the label Fresh Sound, consolidating the quartet as an innovative project with its own personality within today’s jazz scene.
